Electrical Engineer

Job Summary

ICT's San Antonio office is looking for a personable Electrical Engineer to join a multi-discipline design team! The role will also include business development, marketing, and project management duties.

General Duties

• Candidate will be responsible for the total electrical systems design for specific projects.
• Make calculations integral to the electrical systems design.
• Familiar with and apply applicable building codes and standards.
• Deal directly with clients/owners to determine specific project needs.
• Manage, direct, and supervise project to assure project confirms to the commitments related to time, quality, and communications.
• Deal directly with client to establish project schedules and expectations.
• Aid market segment manager and team leader in manpower projections and scheduling of work.
• Manage, direct, and supervise electrical engineering staff in the execution of specific projects to meet schedules and timely completion of projects.
• Schedule and lead electrical production staff meetings.
• Supplement ICT design standards and administrative procedures where needed.
• Learn ICT’s client base and the services provided.
• Provide marketing support for project pursuits.
• Capable of increasing technical competency with experience and work ethic.
• Able to effectively communicate with architects, owners, and contractors.
• Able to work well independently and as part of a strong team.
• Excellent organization and time management skills.

Skills

• Design of Commercial and/or Healthcare Building experience is preferred.
• Willingness to build and maintain relationships with clients.
• Experience with healthcare facility design projects a plus.
• Experience using and understanding of REVIT designing platforms.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills essential for team-based projects.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in electrical engineering and 5 or more years of applicable experience in design/engineering of building electrical power systems.
• Texas PE certification preferred, not required.
• Must have Project Management experience.
• Knowledge of engineering theories and methodologies.
• Knowledge of project approach and system design.
