Electrical Engineer
Responsibilities
- Supporting the planning, design, and delivery of commercial building electrical engineering projects
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates
- Managing planning and modeling efforts, regulatory compliance, and permitting requirements
- Leading electrical design activities from project initiation through construction documentation
- Preparing and reviewing plans, specifications, and related bid and construction documents
- Reviewing project details to proactively identify and mitigate risk
- Evaluating site conditions and designing electrical systems that meet environmental, safety, and installation requirements
- Training and mentoring staff on electrical building design standards and the use of Revit, AutoCAD, and related software
- Coordinating with clients, municipal authorities, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Staying current on industry codes, standards, and emerging trends relevant to electrical and civil engineering
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Texas or Oklahoma
- Proficiency in engineering design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, Visual Lighting, and SKMD
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial building electrical design and applicable codes
- Ability to lead project design efforts from start to finish, considering schedule, budget, and resources
- Effective leadership, mentoring, and delegation abilities
