Responsibilities
- Oversee all electrical engineering work.
- Technical guidance and quality oversight, including code review, of all project work involving electrical engineering.
- Technical training and development of staff.
- Establishing and improving standards, practices, guidelines, and specifications for electrical discipline area.
- Engineer of Record.
- Provide 'on-the-spot' advice and decisions - technical and cost estimates.
- Cordination with all of the disciplines involved, including outside consultants.
- Technical interface with code officials and contractors.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (AutoCAD), REVIT and BlueBeam software.
- Project Management skills.
- Microsoft Suites proficient (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
- Ability to work independently and with a team of engineers, clients, and contractors.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited college program.
- Must qualify for licensure in the state of Tennessee.
- Licensed in multiple states a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification, six (6) or more years of related practical experience required.
- Experience in the design of commercial, mixed-use, or industrial projects is preferred.
