Essential Responsibilities
- Assist with troubleshooting and improving electrical and automation systems
- Support installation, relocation, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment
- Develop and maintain electrical schematics, panel layouts, and related documentation
- Support maintenance teams with electrical and controls troubleshooting
- Cookordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure project requirements and specifications are met
- Obtain project quotations and serve as the primary contact for electrical contractors and suppliers
- Order electrical components and project materials as required
- Participate in planning, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement meetings
- Support preventative and predictive maintenance initiatives
- Maintain working knowledge of plant electrical distribution systems, manufacturing processes, and industrial safety standards
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
Additional Qualifications
- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, controls, and automation
- Improving process yield, throughput, productivity, and equipment reliability
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience designing, specifying, and commissioning electrical systems and controls
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving capability with hands-on experience applying methodologies such as 8D, Six Sigma, PFMEA, DMAIC, and other root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools.
