Job Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement electrical systems, circuits, and components
- Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical documentation
- Perform load calculations, power distribution analysis, and system evaluations
- Conduct testing, troubleshooting, validation, and performance analysis of electrical systems
- Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, quality, and project teams throughout the product lifecycle
- Ensure compliance with NEC, IEEE, UL, and other applicable electrical standards
- Support installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities
- Analyze technical issues and implement corrective actions to improve system performance and reliability
- Participate in design reviews and provide engineering recommendations
- Prepare project reports, specifications, and engineering documentation
- Auxiliary in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk assessment activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- 1-5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, design, or related field
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, MATLAB, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar engineering software
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, controls, and circuit design
- Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, NFPA, and industry safety standards
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT or PE certification preferred
- Experience with power systems, industrial automation, semiconductor, manufacturing, or renewable energy projects
- Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, instrumentation, and testing equipment
- Project management experience is a plus
