Key Responsibilities
- Create schematics, PCB layouts, and technical specifications under the guidance of senior engineers and system architects
- Perform electrical analysis, simulation, and validation on assigned designs
- Contribute to the design of power electronics, control circuits, instrumentation, and protection systems
- Work closely with mechanical, software, and systems engineering teammates to integrate electrical designs into the broader product
- Troubleshoot electrical issues during prototype builds, bench testing, and field deployments
- Evaluate components and vendor technologies; make recommendations on part selection
- Ensure designs meet applicable safety standards, regulatory requirements, and internal performance targets
- Document designs, procedures, and technical findings clearly
- Support prototype builds, bring-up, and field deployment activities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 3+ years of electrical engineering experience, ideally with exposure to power systems or power electronics
- Working knowledge of power electronics, circuit design, and control systems
- Proficiency with electrical design tools (Altium, EAGLE, KiCad, or similar)
- Familiarity with simulation tools (SPICE, MATLAB, or similar)
- Understanding of relevant standards (NEC, UL, IEC, IEEE)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Clear technical documentation and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with high-voltage or high-power electrical systems
- Exposure to renewable energy applications (solar inverters, BMS, grid interconnection)
- Hands-on prototype and field deployment experience
