About the role
Rosemount™ is a signature brand of Emerson, and you will be part of a team designing world-class Pressure and Temperature field instruments. Our products deliver highly accurate pressure and temperature measurements with unmatched reliability to help customers in a variety of industries. Our design team is responsible for the electronics that sense and convert pressure or temperature into a digital or analog value that can then be used by a control system to improve plant operations, produce the products we all rely on, and ensure the safety of workers.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to new product development activities including low power mixed signal circuit design, simulation, qualification testing, and design reviews.
- Work with cross-functional local and global development teams.
- Prepare detailed plans, schematics, printed circuit board layouts and assemblies to create and qualify designs.
- Perform a variety of electronic testing using common laboratory equipment.
- Research and develop new ideas and technologies for implementation into our products.
- Provide technical support for existing products.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Five (5) or more years of applicable experience
Qualifications
- Self-motivated, team-oriented individual who can set and achieve goals.
- Interested in learning, apply technical rigor in problem solving and analysis.
- Collaborate well with others, willing to take feedback and personal responsibility for decisions.
- Communicate effectively in various settings (e.g. one-on-one, groups, and written).
Skills
- Experience with high resolution low power analog to digital (A/D) measurement circuits.
- Experience with simulation and analysis tools.
- Track record of successful hardware system development.
- Experience with international safety and hazardous location design, including intrinsic safety.
- Experience with international EMC requirements and design techniques.
- Experience with Cadence Tools (schematic capture, PCB layout).

Pay
$100,000 - $140,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
