About the role
We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to serve as a key contributor to the design, development, testing, and implementation of advanced aerospace electrical systems and embedded control platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop embedded processor-based control systems and aerospace electrical architectures for new and existing products.
- Lead electrical design activities, provide technical guidance, and support cross-functional teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Analyze complex engineering challenges, develop effective solutions, and ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and aerospace industry requirements.
- Conduct qualification, verification, and investigative testing, while preparing technical documentation and engineering reports to support development programs.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, suppliers, customers, and production teams to troubleshoot issues, implement new technologies, and support product reliability, performance, and production readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or related field) with experience in aerospace electrical design, systems engineering, and military or commercial aerospace programs.
- Experience developing aerospace actuators, sensors, embedded control systems, and analog/processor-based motion control solutions.
- Proficiency with electrical design tools such as Altium Designer, OrCAD, or similar platforms.
- Experience with hand and power tools; tool repair experience and exposure to Lean Manufacturing practices preferred.
- Familiarity with aerospace communication protocols (ARINC 429, CAN Bus, SPI, Ethernet, MIL-STD-1553) and aerospace certification/compliance standards including DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD-704, and MIL-STD-461.

Pay
$120,000 - $140,000 DOE
