Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs.
• Provide technical expertise and consultation through direct involvement and as a subject matter expert when consulted to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Directly fulfill engineering and technical leadership accountability regarding short-term and long-term programs that impact site operations.
• Apply engineering principles to perform engineering tasks as assigned by supervision.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work, maintaining proper configuration management and adherence to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes.
• Conduct independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of technical projects and programs.
• Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
• Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department.

Requirements

• Minimum qualifications for Mid-level Engineer:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear)
  • 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience
• Minimum qualifications for Senior Engineer:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear)
  • 5 years of nuclear or related engineering experience

Qualifications

• Master's and Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred
• Electrical Design Engineering experience preferred
• Working knowledge of codes and standards
• Professional Engineer Registration

Pay

This Engineering role can be filled at the Mid-level or Senior Engineer level. The expected salary range is as follows:

• Mid-Level: $92,700 - $114,000
• Sr Level: $122,400 - $154,000
