About the Role
As an Electrical Product Design Engineer based at our R&D facility in Pennsylvania, you will work on a dynamic team tackling a variety of tasks. This role blends practical and theoretical knowledge, allowing you to engage with different aspects of our products while maintaining a holistic view of their impact. Travel to manufacturing plants and job sites for hands-on feedback and performance testing is part of the role.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and implement electrical systems and products.
- Develop a full understanding of electrical schematics and system design.
- Troubleshoot electrical circuits and hardware using tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
- Handle equipment installation, removal, upgrades, modifications, and electrical assembly.
- Analyze feedback from plants and service teams for product improvements or issue resolution.
- Collaborate with the supply chain team on component acquisition.
- Work with the R&D, sales, application engineering, and service teams to resolve product issues.
- Address software and background issues alongside the internal IT team.
- Travel to manufacturing facilities and job sites as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 0-5 years of engineering design and electrical knowledge.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Understanding of electrical circuits and PCB design.
- Self-motivation to stay current with electrical advances and new technologies.
- Full working knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical schematics.
- Familiarity with safety testing and agency approval processes.
- Proficiency with electrical tools and equipment: crimpers, multimeters, connectors, relays, contactors, wire gauges/types, soldering, etc.
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems.
- Willingness to travel to manufacturing facilities and job sites.

Pay
$65,000–$95,000 base salary, negotiable based on experience, with additional monthly bonuses tied to productivity and profits.
