About the role
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. You will be responsible for designing and developing systems for a variety of markets including consumer products, medical devices, space systems, unmanned aerial vehicles, and industrial controls.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop hardware architectures, power budgets, electrical block diagrams, schematics, and PCBs.
- Layout, bring-up, and debug designs, and document and verify your work.
- Participate in design reviews and occasionally travel to customer sites for project kickoffs or deliveries.
- Support the sales team by bidding and quoting on incoming work and discussing our capabilities with customers.
Requirements
- Several years of experience in embedded systems design, including microcontrollers, processors, and FPGAs.
- Experience with controlled impedance for high-speed channel design or RF technologies (10GbE, 802.11, SerDes, PCIe).
- Knowledge of communications interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, RS-232, RS-485, USB, SDIO, CAN, MIL-STD-1553, LVDS, etc.).
- Experience with DC/DC converters and topologies, EMI/EMC, and Signal Integrity analysis.
- Lab troubleshooting and debug experience using test equipment like oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering from an accredited technical college or university.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
