Responsible Duties
- Perform operations and maintenance (O&M) duties in support of a military installation.
- Design and develop electrical distribution systems and building and facility electrical systems.
- Provide expertise in Fire Detection/Notification/Protection systems.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of electrical engineering concepts, principles, and practices.
- Familiarity with architectural and other engineering disciplines.
- Experience with automated data processing concepts and systems capabilities.
- Ability to plan, conduct, and record site/facilities surveys and inspections.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and apply results, rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Skills Desired
- Knowledge of design and development of electrical distribution systems and/or building and facility electrical systems.
- Experience with Fire Detection/Notification/Protection.
Benefits
The position offers a salary range of $59,465 - $137,128, depending on experience and level.

Qualifications/Requirements
- Education requirements: A professional engineering degree at the bachelor’s level from an ABET accredited institution.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security clearance.
- Must meet the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements applicable to the duties of the position.
- Up to 24 months to meet the applicable mandatory experience, education, and training requirements.
Skills
- Knowledge of a broad range of engineering and construction standards, methods, practices, and techniques.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Knowledge of environmental principles, practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and current legislative issues.
- Knowledge of automated data processing concepts, systems capabilities, and economic usage.
- Knowledge of program planning and budgeting cycles, financial control and budget systems and management.
- Knowledge of aesthetic and functional design techniques and skill in preparing project documentation.
- Ability to plan, conduct, and record site/facilities surveys and inspections.
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and apply results, rules, regulations, and procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
