Electrical Engineer (3+ Years of Experience)

Responsibilities

• Utilize software (PV case, PV Farm, SAM, PVsyst) for designing, optimizing, and creating detailed technical plans for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.
• Create PV layouts to support the electrical design of the project in collaboration with other disciplines.
• Perform electrical “blocking” and MV routing for PV design.
• Assist with generation of single line diagrams.
• Evaluate design alternatives to solve constructability, code, and site challenges.
• Utilize AutoCAD to produce engineered construction plans and sheet set ups, including plan views, sections, elevations, and details.

Requirements

• Enthusiasm, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
• 3+ years of professional experience.

Qualifications

• Associate or Technical Degree in CAD, Survey, Construction, or Engineering, or a B.S. in Engineering, Technology or Construction‑related field from an accredited institution (or acceptable equivalent).
• Ability to lead design projects, mentor junior staff, and maintain design standards.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.
