Position Overview
We are seeking a candidate with strong drafting skills and an engineering background in the electric utility industry to support the development of distribution standards.key Responsibilities
- Develop and design electric distribution standards for both overhead and underground systems
- Create and maintain standards drawings using CAD platforms
- Collaborate with full-time engineering staff to capture requirements and translate them into detailed drafting deliverables
- Revise and update existing standards as needed
Required Qualifications
- Background in electric utility engineering, specifically within distribution standards
- Hands-on experience with both AutoCAD and MicroStation
- Strong drafting and technical design capabilities
- Experience working with standards documentation, sketches, and utility design concepts
- Ability to work closely with a team and incorporate feedback effectively
