Electrical Designer
About the role
The Electrical Design Engineer plays a crucial role in designing and implementing electrical systems, including power distribution systems, low voltage infrastructure, lighting design, and low-voltage systems such as fire alarms, security, and controls.
Responsibilities
- Design power distribution systems with riser diagrams and panel schedules.
- Create low voltage infrastructure designs for IT and security systems.
- Develop lighting design, including fixture selection, controls, and lighting calculations.
- Design low-voltage systems, including fire alarms, security, and controls.
- Calculate electrical loads, fault current, and voltage drop.
- Conduct field surveys and provide support during the construction phase.
Requirements
- Proficiency in MEP and electrical design.
- Experience with Revit software.
- Minimum of 0.5 years of electrical design experience.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and client relationship skills.

Work Environment
The role is based in a close-knit team of 10 employees in a bullpen-like office setting, fostering a family-oriented culture. Pay
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00 per hour. Individual compensation will depend on qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other job-related factors.
