About the role
A fast growing manufacturing organization, and we are rapidly growing our Engineering and Technical teams! We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated AutoCAD Electrical Control Designer to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent position for a seasoned professional with a strong background in the Engineering industry.
Responsibilities
- Designing and developing complex electrical control systems, using AutoCAD.
- Applying knowledge of NEC and UL 508A standards to ensure compliance in all design projects.
- Managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and within budget.
- Creating and maintaining templates for future projects to streamline the workflow and increase efficiency.
- Configuring technical specifications for automation and control systems.
- Producing detailed, accurate drawings to guide the manufacturing process.
- Working closely with the manufacturing team to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues with Allen-Bradley and Rockwell systems.
- Continuously updating technical knowledge and skills to stay abreast of industry developments.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
- Proven expertise in AutoCAD and electrical control design.
- Extensive knowledge of NEC and UL 508A standards.
- Experience in managing projects and producing high-quality deliverables.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining templates to streamline workflow.
- Strong technical configuration skills, with a particular focus on automation and control systems.
- The ability to produce detailed, accurate drawings for manufacturing.
- Strong technical skills, with a proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Experience with Allen-Bradley and Rockwell systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong attention to detail.
- A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
Pay
Salary: $95,000 - $110,000 per year
