We are seeking talented Electrical Engineers to join our Nuclear Design Group. Our Electrical Engineer career path offers multiple options, including mid-level, senior, and principal engineer roles where you can lead and mentor others. Full-time roles are available in the following locations: Glendale, AZ; San Luis Obispo, CA; Kennewick, WA; Chattanooga, TN; Kennesaw, GA (Atlanta suburb); Naperville, IL (Chicago suburb); Overland Park, KS; Ft Worth, TX; Baton Rouge, LA; Palm Beach Gardens, FL; Birmingham, AL.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary partners and coordinate across engineering teams to drive successful project execution.
  • Develop design studies, prepare engineering calculations and analysis, attend project meetings, conduct field walkdowns, and mentor junior engineers.
  • Act as a bridge between engineering teams to ensure seamless integration and coordination across all project disciplines.
  • Shape project success by developing innovative design studies, defining project scopes, and creating accurate engineering estimates.
  • Draft detailed specifications for electrical equipment, evaluate technical bids, and select solutions to meet project needs.
  • Perform essential electrical calculations that form the foundation of successful designs and installations.
  • Bring fresh perspectives and innovative solutions to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Travel to project sites to conduct walkdowns, oversee installations, and support start-up activities for quality and compliance.
  • Foster a positive, goal-oriented environment with motivational leadership to empower teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience designing electrical systems (high voltage, switchgear, motor controls).
  • Experience in power generation, nuclear power, or government (DOE) projects, either directly or with an engineering/design consulting firm.
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor and collaborate effectively in teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Due to Federal Contract Requirements, U.S. citizenship is required.

Pay

Compensation range: USD $90,000.00 – USD $185,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, geographic location, and internal equity.
