About the role
Our Tech Stack: AutoCAD Electrical, Industrial Components, PLC Interfaces, Industrial Communication Protocols
Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced automated equipment for modern manufacturing
- Ensure every machine is safe, reliable, and built to the highest engineering standards
- Work closely with controls engineers, mechanical engineers, and technicians to support real-time design, troubleshooting, and equipment build activities
- Manage project timelines and budgets
- Evaluate new suppliers and products
- Communicate project status with project management
- Maintain relationships with key suppliers
- Experience with testing, selecting, and sourcing electrical components
- Creating electrical schematics and panel layouts
- Supporting panel build and equipment wiring
- Producing supplementary documentation for electrical designs
- Troubleshooting wiring issues and resolving build questions
- Collaborating with controls engineers, mechanical engineers, and technicians
- Evaluating new suppliers and products
- Maintaining relationships with key suppliers
Requirements
- Experienced with: Testing, selecting, and sourcing electrical components
- Creating electrical schematics and panel layouts
- Supporting panel build and equipment wiring
- Troubleshooting wiring issues and resolving build questions

- Experience with industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus, Profinet, etc.)
- Experience with automation components such as sensors, drives, and safety devices
- Hands-on panel design or wiring experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with trade show or training participation related to controls or automation
