Electrical Design Engineer - Full-Time

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to design and develop rugged electronics for mission-critical defense applications, with a focus on PCB layout, analog/digital circuits, embedded microcontrollers, and antenna integration. Experience or interest in RF circuits and antennas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Research, develop, test, and integrate custom embedded systems and communication capabilities.
• Design electrical circuits, RF receivers, and compact antennas, performing modeling, schematic capture, PCB layout, and fabrication.
• Support product testing and verification, including electromagnetic and environmental tests.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers for design integration and develop documentation adhering to configuration management.
• Lead technical problem-solving, evaluate solutions, and present design decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Active Secret Clearance and US Citizenship.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and in teams, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in analog/digital circuitry, embedded microcontrollers, modeling, and test methodologies.
• Ability to innovate and apply new technologies in austere environments.
