Electrical Design Engineer - Electric Power

As an Electrical Engineer - Design in the Americas Custom Solutions Packaging Engineering Team located in Griffin, GA, you will lead enclosure packaging development programs and ongoing maintenance initiatives. Success in this role requires managing project plans, communicating effectively with process partners, and escalating issues as needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead global teams in the design of new products, processes, components, and systems.
- Provide technical guidance on product needs, analysis, and initiation of new ideas.
- Communicate results to global customers, suppliers, team members, and other business units.
- Complete projects on time and within budget, acknowledging trade-offs between time, resources, and quality.
- Manage the planning and delivery of projects, mentor team members, and expand your professional network.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering Technology.
- Technical excellence in a given technology and ability to develop solutions to significant technical challenges.
- Extensive experience in analytical thinking, including identifying root causes, evaluating risks, and breaking down complex problems.
- Extensive experience with computer-aided design and engineering tools, including coaching others on design projections and transformations.
- Extensive experience in product design for manufacturing, including advising on functionality, evaluating customer feedback, and controlling development costs.
- Working knowledge of product design and development, including building prototypes and using automated design tools.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ProE/Creo electrical programs.
- Experience with electrical codes (UL, NEC, CSA).
- Experience in engine or genset electrical design, enclosure electrical layout, or engine/genset controller development.
- AC power distribution or DC system design experience.
- Experience with diesel engine/genset development.
- FMEA development experience.
Additional Information
This position is located in Griffin, GA, and requires up to 10% travel. Domestic relocation assistance is available. The role follows a 5-day-a-week in-office schedule. Visa sponsorship is not offered for this position.

Pay
Summary pay range: $97,530.00 - $146,290.00. Compensation and benefits vary based on job level, market location, knowledge, skills, performance, and experience.
