Electrical Design Engineer, Data Center Design Engineering
Role Scope
Take designs from concept through permit and construction document sets, defining critical equipment specifications and approving equipment submittals.
Support construction directly and stay involved across the full project lifecycle, from site-selection review through commissioning and turnover.
Justify and communicate technical decisions to senior leadership, and drive continuous improvement in data center designs as the team brings engineering in-house.
What We're Looking For
- You have hands-on electrical design experience and can take a system from concept through permit and CD sets.
- You understand the critical equipment needs of a high-density GPU data center and design for constructability.
- You define equipment specs and approve submittals with authority.
- You support construction and own your designs through commissioning and turnover, not just to drawing release.
- You communicate and defend technical decisions to senior leadership.
- Bonus: PE license. Hyperscale or mission-critical electrical design. SKM or ETAP. Critical equipment (switchgear, UPS, generators) specification. Full-lifecycle project delivery.

Pay
Compensation Range: $200K - $300K
