Electrical Design Engineer

Role Overview: The Motor Design Engineer is responsible for developing custom electromagnetic designs for miniature DC brushless motors, supporting manufacturing, customer engineering requests, and driving technological innovations. This fully onsite position involves collaboration with global R&D teams, designing drive systems from concept to production, and translating customer and internal requirements into engineering solutions. Key Responsibilities Design and develop advanced miniature motor drive systemsCreate technical proposals for new applications in collaboration with customersSupport troubleshooting and quality feedback for manufacturingGather design inputs from various teams and translate into engineering requirementsInnovate to extend product performance and capabilitiesAddress internal and external customer engineering requests Qualifications & Skills BS in Electrical Engineering or related; advanced degree preferredMinimum 5 years in design and manufacturing, with specific experience in electric machine designExpertise with DC/AC motors, control, testing, and specificationsProficient in finite element or parameterized motor design softwareHands-on experience with electrical/mechanical testing equipment and troubleshootingStrong communication, problem-solving, and self-motivation skillsUS citizenship required Additional Details: Must be able to travel up to 5%. Physical demands include bending, sitting, lifting, and driving. The role offers a salary range of $100,000 to $143,000 and comprehensive benefits.
