Electrical Design Engineer

This role supports our Altronex brand, a leading provider of control solutions for the municipal water and wastewater industries, offering custom-engineered control panels, SCADA and telemetry systems, control panel fabrication, systems integration, and field services support.

About the role

As our Design Engineer, your primary role will be to design large engineered panels using AutoCAD Electrical, review and interpret specifications to build products used for water and wastewater applications, and create bills of materials and documentation for the manufacturing of control panels. You will work in close cooperation with Operation Coordinators, Sales, and external customers to ensure understanding and obtain required information.

Requirements

• 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree and 1-2 years of experience, or a 2-year degree with 3-5 years of experience
• Experience designing industrial controls
• Experience creating schematics using AutoCAD Electrical
• Knowledge of UL508/698A standards and application
