About the role
Responsible for developing functioning prototypes of ATV/SxS vehicles, researching new technologies, and maintaining global vehicle quality.
Responsibilities
- Design complex component and system layouts using CAD, ensuring specifications meet concept, function, and manufacturing requirements.
- Communicate specifications through detailed drawings, establish or contribute to cost targets, and optimize designs for cost reduction.
- Manage project schedules, coordinate resources, and lead or participate in development meetings.
- Generate innovative ideas, support technological advancements, and analyze root causes to address quality issues.
- Develop and implement technical specifications with limited supervision.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 2+ years engineering experience, preferably in Powersports or Automotive sectors.
Skills
- Strong leadership, communication, and confidentiality skills.
- Proficient in FTA, FMEA, dimensional tolerance analysis, drawing techniques, and CAE principles.
- Ability to develop plans, schedules, and understand product development processes.
Working Conditions
Involves occasional travel, primarily desk work, and adherence to safety protocols. Overtime may be required based on project needs.
