Essential Functions
- Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by researching specifications and designing complete systems; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
- Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
- Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components; soliciting observations from operators.
- Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
- Develops and maintains electrical design standards and a product database using relevant and effective computer programs for the purpose; entering data.
- Guides electrical designers in critical design decisions and standards.
- Participates in relationships with partner vendors to coordinate future design directions.
- Completes projects by training and guiding technicians on critical electrical design elements.

Required Education And Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in relevant electrical design field.
- Certified in the use of electrical engineering software.
- Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of developing solutions that accomplish all machine requirements, customer requirements, and regulation requirements.
