This position supports projects in Waterton, CO and involves the development of sophisticated, state-of-the-art avionics products in a world-class Integrated Product Development environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and capture electrical schematics and guide PCB board layouts.
- Perform electrical Worst Case Analysis and Electrical Parts Stress Analysis.
- Work on a cross-functional team to develop and integrate world-class avionics systems.
- Resolve test anomalies, troubleshoot, and generate, review, and present Product Certification.
- Support system-level testing.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship due to the sensitivity of customer-related information.
- Active Secret Level clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5+ years of recent and related work experience.
- Experience in digital circuit design at the card/board level schematic and analysis.
- Experience supporting the technical evaluation of design and requirements verification.
- Experience in different phases of the aerospace hardware development cycle.
- Experience interacting with peers, management, and government customers.
- Missile design experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
- Strong team player with a solid work ethic and cultural alignment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow company processes, procedures, and requirements.
- Organized with good time management skills; ability to adjust schedule for peak periods.
Qualifications (Desired)
- Experience with a combination of design, test, operations, and systems engineering disciplines.
- Experience in schematic capture using Xpedition or similar tools.
- Experience with PSPICE, Saber, or other electronics simulation tools.
- Experience performing electronics analysis (Worst Case Analysis, Electrical Parts Stress Analysis, Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis).
- Experience performing failure investigations on electronic hardware (CCA, Unit, and System Level).
- Demonstrated strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
Work Environment
- Generally an office environment, but may involve inside or outside work depending on the task.
- Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of the time).
- May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs (5% of the time).
- Position is located onsite in Waterton, CO; some travel may be required.
- Schedules are subject to change based on position and customer needs.
- Regular attendance in accordance with an established work schedule is critical.

Pay
$142,500/yr. Salary will depend on education and experience.
