Summary Of Responsibilities

Aid in programming enhancements on the plant's electrical systems in a safe and efficient manner
Assist in debugging the plant's electrical systems
Determine the root cause of electrical failures and develop/implement solutions to prevent recurrence
Plan electrical equipment outages and upgrades
Support maintenance service providers and contractors during these plans
Train technicians on current and future electrical systems installed at the plant

Minimum Qualifications

Experience with troubleshooting electrical control systems
Willingness to work in a 24/7 operation
Associate’s degree in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related technical/engineering field, or equivalent military training or hands-on experience working with electrical or electronic systems in lieu of a formal degree

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or a related engineering field
3 years of control systems and PLC’s experience
PLC troubleshooting experience, particularly with Siemens S7-1500, IBA Data Collection, Rockwell Contrologix, and GE Control Systems
