Responsibilities
- Design SCADA, substation automation, and communication architectures
- Develop control and monitoring schemes for substations and operations centers
- Integrate field devices such as IEDs and PLCs
- Afford support for SCADA point lists and mapping
- Cookordinate communication protocols like DNP3 and IEC 61850
- Review technical drawings to ensure integration of control systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
- 5-10 years of experience in power system controls or SCADA
- Familiarity with power system communication and control systems
- Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams
