About the Role
We are seeking an Electrical Controls Engineer to assist in the design, development, and implementation of industrial control systems and panels. This role offers a flexible hybrid schedule based in Roselle, IL.
Responsibilities
- Assist and oversee the manufacturing of control panels
- Design and create electrical schematics for UL and CE listed industrial control panels using SolidWorks Electrical design software
- Test PLC and OIT programs
- Create new electrical parts, numbers, and descriptions in ERP system
- Troubleshoot machinery operations and control circuits
- Create and modify PLC and HMI programs using Rockwell software (Studio 5000, RSLogix 5000, FactoryTalk View, RSView, RSLogix 500)
- Modify program/system logic involving multiple system subsystems
- Perform electrical project management work directly with project PM or customers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent professional experience
- 3+ years of experience in industrial controls and systems integration with a strong focus on software design and programming
- Experience with electrical design software (SolidWorks Electrical or other)
- Experience with Rockwell platforms and PLC programming
- Networking experience (Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, or DeviceNet)
- Ability to travel occasionally to client sites
Pay
$100,000–$125,000 per year
