About the role

ITAC serves Process & Industrial clients with integrated engineering and construction services for complex capital projects. We specialize in power generation & utilities, chemicals, food & beverage, forest products, advanced manufacturing, and minerals & metals. As a Project Manager, you will coordinate and direct a project team's engineering, design, procurement, and construction efforts to meet customer project objectives within contract terms. You will enforce project principles, practices, and guidelines to ensure efficient and safe resource allocation, exercise judgment to consider alternatives, and drive optimal solutions within schedule and budget constraints. The role involves identifying and strengthening team and project execution weaknesses, cultivating new client opportunities, and maintaining positive client relations while balancing the interests of both ITAC and the client.

Responsibilities

  • Direct responsibility for ITAC’s engineering, design, procurement, and construction services and deliverables under contract.
  • Ensure sufficient quality reviews (e.g., inter-discipline and constructability) are integrated into the project execution plan.
  • Guarantee the project team meets established scope, budget, and schedule commitments with high-quality deliverables.
  • Maintain positive client relations, balancing the interests of both the client and ITAC fairly.
  • Identify and address team and project execution weaknesses through process and personnel improvements.
  • Cultivate new work with existing clients and pursue additional opportunities for engineering, design, and construction services.
  • Manage multiple simultaneous projects and client assignments with a bias for action and resolute decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management in the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and regulations.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams.
  • Proven leadership abilities to motivate and inspire project teams.
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
