About the role
The Operations Manager – Electrical Construction serves as a strategic operational leader supporting the Tennessee Division Vice President in overseeing daily field operations, workforce planning, project coordination, safety initiatives, and team performance. This position helps ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, profitably, on schedule, and to quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Lead and support electrical construction field operations across multiple job sites
- Ensure projects maintain safety, quality, schedule, and productivity goals
- Coordinate workforce planning and staffing needs
- Support project teams with operational resources and problem-solving
- Monitor project timelines, manpower, cost performance, and operational efficiency
- Lead Superintendents and partner with Project Managers to improve execution
- Provide operational insight and reporting to division leadership
- Help drive process improvements and operational consistency
- Coach, mentor, and evaluate Superintendents and field leadership
- Foster accountability, teamwork, and professional development
- Support company HR policies, employee engagement, and performance initiatives
- Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success
- Aid in customer satisfaction and long-term relationship development
- Assist with issue resolution and operational communication
- Promote a strong safety-first culture
- Ensure compliance with company policies and jobsite safety standards
- Support implementation of safety initiatives and best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in large scale construction, electrical construction, or engineering
- 3+ years of leadership or operations management experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making ability
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with no DUIs
- Ability to travel as needed
- Ability to work in both office and field environments
