Electrical Construction Operations Manager - Data Center | Mission Critical

About the role

The Operations Manager – Electrical Construction leads field operations, project execution, workforce coordination, and operational performance across large-scale electrical construction projects. This role is ideal for professionals with experience in electrical construction management, commercial or industrial construction operations, field operations leadership, project and workforce coordination, and electrical contracting operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support electrical construction field operations across multiple job sites
• Ensure projects maintain safety, quality, schedule, and productivity goals
• Coordinate workforce planning and staffing needs
• Support project teams with operational resources and problem-solving
• Monitor project timelines, manpower, cost performance, and operational efficiency
• Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to improve execution
• Provide operational insight and reporting to division leadership
• Drive process improvements and operational consistency
• Coach, mentor, and evaluate Project Managers and field leadership
• Foster accountability, teamwork, and professional development
• Support company HR policies, employee engagement, and performance initiatives
• Collaborate with clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project success
• Aid in customer satisfaction and long-term relationship development
• Assist with issue resolution and operational communication
• Promote a strong safety-first culture
• Ensure compliance with company policies and jobsite safety standards
• Support implementation of safety initiatives and best practices

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction, electrical construction, or engineering
• 3+ years of leadership or operations management experience
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
