Electrical Commissioning Specialist

About the role

The Electrical Commissioning Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems are installed correctly and function as intended. This includes testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of electrical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
• Commission electrical equipment to ensure proper operation and performance.
• Document all work performed and maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with other trades and engineers to resolve complex electrical issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical commissioning.
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards.
• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Skills

• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.
• Familiarity with electrical safety protocols.
• Experience with PLCs and control systems.

Pay

Schedule

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM.
