Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists in the development of commissioning plans.
- Assists in engineering design reviews.
- Interprets design and specification under direct supervision.
- Works in conjunction with senior engineers to fully understand scope and design as well as resolve issues, when necessary.
- Reviews shop drawings and submittals under direct supervision.
- Develops MEP test procedures under direct supervision.
- Develops MEP operating procedures under direct supervision.
- Provides input in the development of site specific load bank plans.
- Provides input in the development of commissioning schedules.
- Witnesses and/or performs the static and dynamic testing of MEP Systems, whilst under direct supervision, with examples that include chiller plants, air handling equipment, pumps, UPS systems, switchgear, and ATS switches.
- Counsels site observation surveys and prepares field reports on the status of projects and completion of projects with respect to compliance to the plans and specifications, whilst under supervision.
- Prepares daily reports, issue logs, and identifies corrective measures for on-site problems affecting commissioning, whilst under supervision.
- Familiarizes oneself with site specific requirements, as well as the latest equipment and functional concepts.
- Follows and obeys all project specific safety requirements, specific on-site regulations, and company specific safety requirements and protocols.
- Performs routine calculations.
- Seeks to obtain and maintain accreditations pertinent to position.
- Assists the project manager in the reasonable execution of project tasks.
- Receives instruction from senior engineers and ensures proper execution of assigned tasks.
- Participates in professional trade associations and societies.
- Performs various administrative duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Deltek and Microsoft Office 365.
- Education/Experience: Pertinent and/or relevant industry experience; and/or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
