This position is not eligible for Visa Sponsorship. We are hiring an E&A Technician at Nestlé’s Medford manufacturing facility who will directly contribute to the production of household pizza brands known and loved by American families. A $5,000 sign on bonus is available.

What's in it for you

Schedule: We are seeking 2nd shift E&A Techs, 2nd Shift: 2PM to 10PM (OT as needed). These are not traditional Monday - Friday shifts - it's a moving schedule. You must have availability on weekends and your days off are in RED.

Starting hourly pay of $34.05/hr, $1.50/hr 2nd shift differential, $3.00/hr 3rd shift differential. Quarterly Incentives, Comprehensive Nestlé benefits after 30 days of employment, Three weeks of paid time off in your first year, and 11 paid holidays.

Responsibilities

You will directly contribute to the production of household pizza brands known and loved by American families. Your responsibilities will include:

• Electrical skills on the following technologies: PLCs, Servo’s, Networks, Safety devices, Drives, and Software
• Calibration duties including acquiring and maintaining calibration training, calibrating flow meters, RTDs, thermocouples, pressure sensors, scales, etc.
• Documenting calibration results and assisting with outside resources performing calibration
• Skills on the following electrical testing devices to connect, set-up, and perform testing to troubleshoot plant issues: Multimeters, Oscilloscope, Power Logger, IR Camera, and Calibration equipment
• Daily checklist (start-up Electrical), updating prints to reflect wiring changes, creating and improving PMs, and participating in yearly plant shutdowns on the main electrical distribution systems
• Re-builds of contactors, removal and installation of equipment, and maintaining close working relationship with equipment operators and line team leaders
• Troubleshooting emergency equipment failures, abiding by all plant rules/policies including safety, GMP regulations, and performing good housekeeping practices
• Working with the other maintenance techs to increase their electrical skills and ability to work in a team-based environment with all departments

Requirements

An Associate degree in an Industrial Electrical technical field such as Automation Systems Technology or electrical Industrial or E&I Journeyman is preferred.

Highly skilled electrical troubleshooting of plc’s, servo’s, and safety relays for bad components or faulty wiring, strong written and oral communication skills, and ability to interpret and comprehend technical literature and print documentation.

Working knowledge of switchboards, McC’s, panel boards, control cabinets, and utilizing a computer to troubleshoot and repair faulty networked components.

Obtaining and maintaining a Wisconsin state electrical license and continuing education may be required. Obtaining calibration training and maintaining certification may be required.

Pay

The approximate pay for this position is $34.05/hr. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
