About the role
The Electrical Assembler plays a crucial role in assembling electrical components and wiring equipment, utilizing various tools and following detailed drawings and sketches.
Responsibilities
- Use equipment such as cutters, pliers, crimping tools, screwdrivers, and other necessary tools for assembly tasks.
- Maintain and operate all equipment with safety in mind, ensuring the safety of both the assembler and other employees.
- Accurately and efficiently interpret assembly and sub-assembly drawings and sketches.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, keeping a daily time log of work performed.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by immediate and higher-level supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Experience in assembling industrial electrical components, wiring instruments and units, and operating relevant equipment.
- Ability to produce high-quality products within expected quantities and timeframes.
- Physical capabilities to move safely over uneven terrain, climb ladders, kneel, bend, and stand for extended periods.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, measuring scales, and using a tape measure.
- One year of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with tablets and computers.

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to ensure clear understanding of instructions and drawings.
