About the role
As an Electrical Assembler I at MMT, you will play a crucial role in assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems used in automated manufacturing equipment and industrial machinery.Responsibilities
- Assemble and wire electrical control panels and automation equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions
- Install electrical components including relays, PLCs, power supplies, sensors, switches, terminal blocks, and circuit breakers
- Rout, terminate, and label wiring according to engineering drawings
- Perform electrical testing, continuity checks, and functional verification
- Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic systems
- Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to resolve assembly issues
- Support machine startup, debugging, and final inspections
- Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED with technical training in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of electrical assembly, machine building, or industrial manufacturing experience
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Qualifications
- Preferred qualifications include experience working with automation equipment and pneumatic systems, familiarity with PLC-controlled machinery, and experience building custom machinery or industrial equipment.
