Electrical Assembler I

About the role

As an Electrical Assembler I at MMT, you will play a crucial role in assembling, wiring, testing, and troubleshooting electrical systems used in automated manufacturing equipment and industrial machinery.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire electrical control panels and automation equipment
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and work instructions
• Install electrical components including relays, PLCs, power supplies, sensors, switches, terminal blocks, and circuit breakers
• Rout, terminate, and label wiring according to engineering drawings
• Perform electrical testing, continuity checks, and functional verification
• Troubleshoot electrical and pneumatic systems
• Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to resolve assembly issues
• Support machine startup, debugging, and final inspections
• Maintain a safe, organized, and quality-focused work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with technical training in Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of electrical assembly, machine building, or industrial manufacturing experience
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include experience working with automation equipment and pneumatic systems, familiarity with PLC-controlled machinery, and experience building custom machinery or industrial equipment.
