About the role
As an Electrical Assembler at our Kingston Facility, you will report to the Assembly Supervisor of the Prepared Foods Division. You’ll help build and test electrical components used in our equipment. If you enjoy reading schematics, working with your hands, and being part of a collaborative manufacturing team, this role could be a great fit.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and work instructions to complete electrical assemblies
- Gather and verify parts, tools, and materials needed for each job
- Assemble, wire, and solder electrical components to specifications
- Perform panel wiring and machine wiring based on documentation
- Test equipment and complete required documentation (test reports, NCRs, etc.)
- Support engineering teams with prototype builds
- Assist with troubleshooting and resolving issues
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications
- Associate degree in electrical, electro-mechanical technology, or equivalent experience
- Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams
- Basic knowledge of electrical theory and test equipment
- Experience using hand tools (crimpers, strippers, drills, etc.)
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Good communication skills
- Must be authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Experience
- 2+ years of experience in electrical assembly or a similar role
Pay
The estimated hourly salary range for this role is $19.00 - $25.00. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.
