What You'll Do
- Assist Journeyman Electricians with installing and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment
- Perform daily responsibilities that include:
- Measuring, cutting and bending wire and conduit
- Drilling holes for wiring and pulls
- Tracing out short circuits in wiring
- Gather tools and supplies to be used at work sites
- Install fixtures
- Auxiliary duties such as assisting the cabling and special systems teams in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting low-voltage electronic systems
- Opportunities to take on a variety of other tasks based on skill set and interests
Requirements
- Candidates must be able to work in the Omaha, NE area as needed
- Field experience as a commercial electrical apprentice is preferred but not required
- Candidates must have good leadership and people skills
- Ability to pass a physical exam and drug screen
- Maintain a valid driver's license
