Role and Responsibilities

  • Electrical work can be exciting and challenging, but it can also be hard and dangerous.
  • Lifting continuously
  • Pulling
  • Stairs
  • Ladders
  • Digging ditches
  • Laying pipe
  • Pulling wire that’s 2-3" thick
  • Hours are typically 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
  • Electrical work is done in various conditions including cold, snow, rain, mud, dust, dirt, and heat.
  • Projects can be throughout the Front Range and in the mountains or in the humidity and heat of Florida/Arizona.
  • You are expected to go where the work is and be able to get there.
  • The apprentice is expected to complete the Weekly/Monthly Work Report in a thorough, accurate and timely manner.
  • The apprentice as an employee must follow company policies and rules, including safety and productivity requirements.
  • The apprentice as a student must attend the required number of classes to meet the minimum requirements for each level of apprentice classification.

Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license

Qualifications

Ludvik Electric Co. is seeking individuals who are passionate about electrical work and eager to learn. Applicants should have a strong foundation in electrical theory and practical experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required. Candidates must be willing to commit to a four-year apprenticeship program that includes both on-the-job training and related technical instruction.

Benefits

The company pays the tuition for the apprenticeship program and provides payroll deductions for the purchase of necessary books and tools. The apprenticeship program includes 8000 hours of employment and on-the-job training, supplemented by the required hours of related technical instruction conducted by the Independent Electrical Contractors.
