What You’ll Do
- Diagnose, service, and repair Rivian electric vehicles and systems
- Perform high-voltage system diagnostics and repairs (battery systems, inverters, drive units)
- Follow all Rivian and EV-specific safety protocols including PPE and lockout/tagout
- Perform traditional mechanical repairs when applicable (suspension, brakes, HVAC)
- Complete preventive maintenance and inspections for EV fleets
- Utilize diagnostic software and tablets for work orders and system updates
- Maintain accurate documentation of all repairs and diagnostics
- Manage mobile service inventory and parts sourcing
What You’ll Need To Have
- 3+ years of diesel and/or automotive repair experience
- Basic to intermediate electrical knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Safety-first mindset
- Able to work independently in a mobile environment
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must supply own tools
- Rivian EV certification (highly preferred)
- Experience working with electric or hybrid vehicles
- Other EV or high-voltage certifications
- Welding or fabrication experience
Training & Development
- Must be willing to complete Rivian and EV certification training upon hire
- Ongoing training in EV diagnostics, safety, and software systems
- Growth opportunities into advanced EV diagnostic roles
