Responsibilities

  • Service, diagnose, and repair EPG rental equipment for power, temperature control, air, pumps, and used equipment, at a Carter or customer facility.
  • Test batteries, fuel tanks, all gensets including loadbanking.
  • Work in the field as needed to support all PSD rental equipment.
  • Perform mechanical repairs to electrical generator systems and related equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot engine failures.
  • Communicate effectively with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Prioritize workload while providing excellent customer service.
  • Work with limited supervision.
  • Work additional hours as required and travel out of town, including out of the country to meet customers’ demands.
  • Use electronic software.

Requirements

  • Thorough electrical knowledge and understanding of Gensets, air compressors, fuel tanks, and pumps.
  • Able to test batteries, fuel tanks, all gensets including loadbanking.
  • Willing to work in the field as needed to support all PSD rental equipment.
  • Good trouble shooting skills.
  • Works well in a team environment.
  • Strong communicator with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Well organized and able to prioritize workload while providing excellent customer service.
  • Able to work with limited supervision.
  • Able to work additional hours as required and travel out of town, including out of the country to meet customers’ demands.
  • Experience in the use and application of electronic software.
  • An excellent driving record required with the ability to obtain a CDL and/or DOT certification.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED, required.

Pay

Starting Compensation Range: $30.45 - $44.40 per hour. $2,000 sign-on bonus for EPG Rental Technician new hires. $1,000 is payable after 90 days of employment, and the remaining $1,000 is payable after 180 days of employment.
