Electric Motor Winding Assembler

Responsibilities

• Coil wind, insulate, insert, form, in-process inspect, clean and test stator assemblies according to specifications and schematics.
• Perform other related tasks as required.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience in electric stator/motor winding
• Ability to read and comprehend assembly drawings and detailed instructions as outlined on production Work Orders.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and understanding of schematics
• Willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing technologies
• Ability to use hand tools, and mechanical and electrical equipment.

Qualifications

• Bend or stoop repeatedly or continually over time
• Remain in a standing position for extended periods of time
• Lifting objects up to 50 pounds may be required
• Make fine, highly controlled muscular movements to adjust the position of a control mechanism (i.e., operating dials or pedals)
• Capture the movement of more than one limb simultaneously (i.e., operating the milling table vertically and horizontally)

Benefits

• Flexible work schedule. Available as determined by changes in customer demand, to adjust shift start/end times and work overtime as necessary.

$20 - $25 per hour
