Electric Lineworker A

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial areas. Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspect electrical systems for safety and compliance with local codes
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults and malfunctions
• Install new electrical components and wiring as needed
• Communicate with customers regarding work progress and completion
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to OSHA guidelines

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• At least 2 years of related experience in electrical maintenance
• First aid and CPR certification

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Physical ability to climb ladders and work at heights

Skills

• Knowledge of electrical systems and safety practices
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
