About the role

Timberlake Middle School is seeking an Electives Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of elective courses to middle school students
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards
• Mentor and support student academic and personal growth
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and curriculum
• Assess student progress and provide feedback

Requirements

• Valid Idaho Teaching Certificate
• Experience in middle school education preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively with other educators and staff

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Effective time management and organization skills
• Passion for teaching and working with young people

Skills

• Excellent classroom management skills
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles
• Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices
