Job Responsibilities
- Accurately measure and weigh raw materials following prescribed formulas or recipes for OTC products.
- Ability to understand specifications to determine batch characteristics, type and weight of ingredients to be used.
- Select, pre-weigh ingredients to specification and to reconcile ingredient usage for each batch.
- Proficient in blending and adding ingredients during the blending cycle as specified in the (CF) compounding formula.
- Understand the necessary adjustments to temperature, time, and speed controls outlined in the (CF) compounding formula.
- Operate and maintain critical equipment, such as mixers, blenders, valves, pumps to ensure proper functioning.
- Clean and sanitize equipment, containers, and work areas to maintain a hygienic and safe manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail for accurately recording and maintaining batch records.
- Proficient in navigating and executing transactions within Oracle.
- Familiar with departmental processes to ensure the proper transfer of product to holding tanks.
- Manage various responsibilities with limited supervision.
- Collaborate effectively across departments to fulfill daily responsibilities.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper handling of chemicals and adherence to safety procedures.
Physical Requirements
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for extended periods.
- Able to perform repetitive motions, such as stirring, pouring, or scooping.
- Able to tolerate working in environments with fluctuating temperatures, moderate noise levels, and exposure to chemicals or dust.

Qualifications

- Proficiency in English reading comprehension and the ability to adhere to written instructions.
- Forklift certification (certification provided by PL Developments).
- Willing to work extended hours, including weekends and various shift schedules.
