ELDS Warehouse Trainer 1st shift

About the role

This onsite position in Mebane, NC empowers you to lead training initiatives that help industries run leaner and cleaner. You’ll prepare and maintain training materials, support warehouse start-ups, and continuously improve onboarding and technical training programs for warehouse employees.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and maintain training documentation, work instructions, and standardized training materials to support employee learning and skill development.
  • Support warehouse operations during start-ups by training indirect and direct staff.
  • Develop, deliver, and continuously improve onboarding and technical training programs for warehouse employees.
  • Analyze quality trends and implement targeted training to address recurring skill gaps and improve first-time quality.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to expand technical knowledge, instructional skills, and training best practices.
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Operations to identify training needs and support operational goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret BOMs in reference to pick lists.
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse processes.
  • Basic knowledge of statistical analysis tools (Excel or PowerBI preferred).
  • Experience with ERP or MES systems (SAP preferred).
  • Ability to teach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement tools preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in receiving, shipping, picking, or kitting processes preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate a forklift.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
  • Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools, as needed.
  • Ability to safely use a ladder while performing the job, as needed.
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
