Elder Law Attorney

Description Our client, an established and highly respected law firm, is seeking an experienced and compassionate Elder Law Attorney to join its team. This position focuses heavily on Medicaid planning, asset protection, long-term care planning, and crisis Medicaid applications. Key Responsibilities Advise clients on Medicaid eligibility and asset protection strategiesDevelop and implement pre-planning and crisis planning solutionsOversee Medicaid applications and appealsCounsel clients regarding long-term care, nursing home placement, and community Medicaid programsOversee estate planning documentsWork closely with families navigating urgent healthcare and financial challengesMaintain strong relationships with clients and referral sources Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law schoolActive admission to the New York State BarApproximately 5+ years of relevant experience preferredExperience with Elder Law, Medicaid Planning, Estate Planning, and/or Trusts & EstatesStrong knowledge of Medicaid eligibility rules and crisis planning strategiesExcellent communication, client service, and organizational skillsAbility to compassionately guide clients and families through complex and often time-sensitive mattersMust be able to work onsite in Hauppauge, NY Apply Apply by emailing your resume and cover letter to Arianna Hinojosa at ahinojosa@oncallcounsel.com or by applying at the link to this posting.
