Elaia Spa – Massage Therapist (On Call)

The Elaia Spa Massage Therapist will provide an exceptional experience to the guests of Hyatt at Olive 8, an award‑winning, LEED‑certified hotel dedicated to eco‑friendly practices and guest well‑being.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional massage and body treatments to spa guests.
• Provide outstanding customer service and communicate effectively with guests.
• Maintain appropriate certifications and adhere to all safety and hygiene standards.
• Work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Washington State Massage Therapist License.
• Prior experience as a Massage Therapist.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a genuine desire to satisfy guests’ needs.
• Physical stamina to lift moderate weight and stand for long periods.
• Open availability, including PMs, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

• Hourly rate ranges from $17.13 to $18.49.
• Starting rate: $17.13 / hour.
• Four‑year rate (full‑time or part‑time): $17.47 / hour.
• Lead rate (eligible candidates): $18.13 / hour.
• Lead four‑year rate (full‑time or part‑time): $18.49 / hour.
• On‑Call colleagues are not eligible for the four‑year rate.
• Additional compensation: 18 % of the 20 % service charge is paid directly to the therapist.
• Therapist receives 100 % of any gratuity left by the guest.
• 15 % commission on services for any length of treatment.
• Shift differential: $4.00 / hour for hours worked on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays; an extra $4.00 / hour if both Saturday & Sunday are worked.
