About the role
We're seeking passionate educators to lead ELA Lab classes for high school students during the upcoming Academic Year (2026–2027). These small-group, intervention-based classes are designed for students who are behind in reading and writing. Ideal candidates have experience in literacy instruction, are familiar with structured reading programs, and preferably have training in or are open to learning the Lindamood-Bell methodology. You'll help students strengthen decoding, comprehension, and writing skills in a focused, nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead small-group, intervention-based ELA Lab classes for high school students who are behind in reading and writing.
- Implement the pre-designed ELA Lab curriculum based on the Lindamood-Bell methodology to help struggling readers build foundational language skills.
- Provide focused, supportive environments for students to catch up and thrive.
- Train and support students in decoding, comprehension, and writing skills.
Requirements
- Charismatic, positive personality
- Strong interest in literacy education and helping students grow
- Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
- Experience in reading intervention or ELA instruction (preferred)
- Familiarity with Lindamood-Bell programs or willingness to train
- 1–2 years of teaching experience
Qualifications
- Preferably trained in or open to learning the Lindamood-Bell methodology

Monday - Thursday: 1:05 PM - 4:50 PM
